Essential collar, shaped silhouette, long sleeves with double cuffs. On the front, a dense and irregular plastron of frills rises like a baroque obsession sewn by machine. The cotton is crisp, slightly glossy, with subtle ridges. Mother-of-pearl buttons.

An exercise in contained excess — as always with McQueen — between technical rigour and theatricality.
